We are looking for an experienced Shopify Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in theme development, app development, and Shopify API integrations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on Shopify engineering experience, is Shopify Certified, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

This role requires deep technical expertise across the entire Shopify ecosystem—from Liquid and Online Store 2.0 themes to custom app development and headless storefronts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON templates, and Online Store 2.0 standards.
• Build custom Shopify apps (public/private) using Node.js or Ruby, and integrate them with Shopify Admin, Storefront, and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement and manage Shopify REST and GraphQL API integrations with external systems (CRM, ERP, payment gateways, inventory platforms, etc.).
• Develop and maintain headless Shopify storefronts using Hydrogen, Storefront API, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Create and manage metafields, app embeds, theme extensions, and checkout UI extensions.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, theme, checkout, and app-related issues.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to deliver high-quality Shopify experiences.
• Maintain best practices for code quality, security, version control, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Shopify full-stack development.
• Shopify Certification (Developer/Partner Academy).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong expertise in Liquid and Shopify theme architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Online Store 2.0, JSON templates, sections, and blocks.
• Solid experience building custom Shopify apps using Node.js or Ruby.
• Proficiency with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with headless Shopify solutions using Hydrogen or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with app embeds, metafields, theme extensions, and checkout UI extensions.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and modern frontend practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating third-party systems or custom microservices.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce stores.
