Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning & Execution

Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.

Assess risks, design audit procedures, and ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, and local regulations.

Review working papers, financial statements, and audit reports with high accuracy.

Team Leadership & Supervision

Manage and supervise senior and junior auditors throughout engagements.

Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to audit team members.

Allocate audit tasks and ensure timely delivery of assignments.

Client Relationship Management

Act as the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

Present audit findings, recommendations, and reports to clients’ senior management.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure all audit work complies with professional standards and internal firm policies.

Perform technical reviews of audit documentation and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Stay updated with changes in accounting and audit standards.

Business Development

Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.

Support the partner in proposal preparation and client presentations.

Participate in firm initiatives and contribute to business growth.

Reporting

Prepare audit reports, management letters, and documentation for partner review.

Highlight significant audit issues and recommend corrective actions.

Track engagement budgets and timelines to ensure efficient delivery.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

Experience

6–10 years of progressive audit experience in a Chartered Accountants or Big Four firm.

At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and local tax/accounting laws.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office tools.
