Key Accountabilities:

1- Preparing the Master Batch Record, including the product composition and method of preparation.

2- Submitting the product composition data to the Regulatory Affairs Department.

3- Making the necessary written modifications to the composition statement in accordance with the Ministry of Health requirements.

4- Developing and updating the product formulation based on production requirements, marketing needs, and stability studies, and conducting the required research to achieve the desired results.

5- Conduct extensive research on new products and submit the related formulation data to the Regulatory Affairs Department for submission to the Ministry of Health to initiate registration procedures.

6- Prepare the formulation data for new products and send it to the Costing Department to calculate the batch cost.

7- Following up and receiving the initial registration notification, and coordinating the start of production for the new product by explaining and clarifying the optimal manufacturing process to the Production Department (pharmacists and technicians).

8- Conducting per-production trials for products that have already received approval.

Performing comparative studies in cases of supplier addition, formulation modification, or re-registration.

9- Training and guiding formulation pharmacists on proper working methods and distributing tasks among them.

10- Monitoring the department’s stock of related substances and reference standards required for product development and registration.

Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is a MUST

Previous experience in R&D, Specially formulation preferred

4-6 years of experience in Research & Development

Proven experience leading teams or managing R&D projects.

Strong background in formulation

Alexandria resident is preferred
