We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team, specializing in the sales of various pumping systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record in sales, providing solutions to clients and driving business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical principles as they apply to pumping systems and their associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Identify customer needs and provide expert technical advice and solutions for their pumping requirements.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of mechanical power and electrical power to specify and size appropriate pumping systems.
• Product Specialization: Focus on a variety of pump types, including borehole pumps, surface pumps, and sewage pumps.
• System Design: Assist clients in designing and selecting complete pumping solutions, including the integration of electrical motors and control panels.
• System Integration: Possess a solid understanding of firefighting systems and be able to specify and sell components that meet relevant safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the pump or fluid-handling industry.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pump hydraulics, electrical motor characteristics, and power calculations. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to pumps and firefighting systems is a must.
