We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our merchant-focused squads. The role will be heavily involved in building and scaling backend services that directly support our merchants across different streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable backend services using PHP and Laravel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Write clean, well-designed code and produce detailed specifications for each project.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.

Requirements

• Proven software development experience in PHP and Laravel.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay, etc.).
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and of developing web services.
