Job Description

Need a competent Desalination Process Design Expert, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, Minimum 15 years of experience on pre-bid support, design & detailed engineering for large capacity Desalination plants. GCC experience preferred.



The Desalination (Reverse Osmosis) Design Manager plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge desalination projects within the real estate sector in Abu Dhabi. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and managerial skills to oversee the design and execution of reverse osmosis systems that ensure a sustainable water supply for residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet regulatory standards and environmental considerations.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and engineering of reverse osmosis desalination systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
2. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including environmental, construction, and procurement departments.
4. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate project viability.
5. Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
6. Stay updated on advancements in desalination technology and integrate best practices into design processes.
7. Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and team members.
8. Oversee the commissioning and testing of desalination systems to ensure optimal performance.
9. Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
10. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
