Job Summary
Reporting to the Global IS Manager, the IS Associate is responsible for developing and maintaining custom business solutions and proprietary applications that drive e Ben’s digital transformation. This role involves building end-to-end software business solutions while also supporting and customizing our ERP ecosystem. The IS Associate will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical tools, ensuring data integrity and optimizing global workflows.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of ERP and related systems.· Develop and maintain clean, efficient backend features and scalable business applications using Python.· Build responsive frontend applications using React and Typescript.· Write and optimize SQL queries, and interact with Postgre SQL databases to ensure efficient data retrieval.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, P&C, Sales, Operations) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.· Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes.· Support system integrations with third-party applications and APIs.· Ensure accuracy and integrity of system data, transactions, and reporting.· Provide technical support to employees, resolving system-related issues promptly.· Document workflows, processes, and system configurations for knowledge sharing.· Conduct routine audits of system data to ensure compliance and efficiency.· Monitor system performance and escalate issues to the Global Information Systems Manager.· Any other work-related tasks that may be requested by the company’s CEO
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field.· 1-3 year of hands-on experience in Software Development.· Familiarity with database management (Postgre SQL preferred).· Fluency in English & Arabic both written and verbal. Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills· Proficiency in Python, with the ability to build and maintain backend services using Python frameworks. · Proficiency in writing type-safe code using Typescript to build reliable and maintainable applications.· Skilled in building responsive and reusable user interfaces using React.· Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, with familiarity in styling frameworks (e.g., Tailwind or Bootstrap).· Solid understanding of Relational Databases with practical experience in Postgre SQL. · Knowledge of version control tools (Git).
