About the job

At Pencil, we are driving innovation in advertising technology through our state-of-the-art SaaS product, which harnesses Generative AI to redefine content creation. Our mission is to make AI the default in advertising without replacing creative people. To achieve this, we need to make sure that our technology isn’t just in the hands of big brands - we need to try to help small businesses and creative individuals too.

We’re looking for an AI Education and Enablement Specialist to build the organisational knowledge that powers this transformation. You’ll design and deliver learning programmes that help teams at every level understand, use and benefit from AI within their daily workflows. Working closely with Change, Implementation and Product teams, you’ll ensure that capability grows hand-in-hand with technology.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a learning practitioner who understands that building capability is central to lasting change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver learning programmes that build practical AI capability across creative, marketing and operational teams.
  • Partner closely with Pencil Product teams as a super user - translating platform updates, new features and best practices into accessible training.
  • Identify capability gaps by engaging directly with executional, creative and delivery teams, ensuring training evolves with real needs.
  • Provide ongoing enablement through live sessions, drop-ins and “AI surgeries” that help teams solve real-world challenges.
  • Continuously measure training effectiveness, adoption and learner confidence, refining content and formats for maximum impact.
  • Create and curate demos, showcases and case studies that illustrate real-world success and impact.
  • Partner with Comms, Marketing and Brandtech PR to ensure alignment and amplification across channels.
  • Lead AI roadshows, thought-leadership sessions and live experiences that engage and inspire.

Your background:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes for digital transformation or technology enablement.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and enterprise learning systems (LMS).
  • Background in Learning & Development, Capability Building, or Marketing Technology Enablement or experience in any creative, marketing or tech client-facing roles.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Change and HR teams to align capability building with transformation strategy.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to translate technical AI concepts into accessible, engaging learning.
  • Passionate about helping people develop confidence and curiosity with new technology.

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Believe capability is the foundation of transformation
  • Enjoy helping others gain confidence through learning and experimentation
  • Value clarity, simplicity and creativity in how you teach complex ideas
  • Collaborate naturally with change and product teams to align learning to outcomes
  • Get energy from scaling knowledge across diverse markets and teams
  • Care as much about behaviour change as knowledge retention
  • See learning as a continual process, not a one-time event

KPIs & Success Measures

  • Capability uplift: Measurable improvement in participants’ AI skills and confidence post-training.
  • Completion and certification: High completion and pass rates across learning pathways.
  • Post-training adoption: Demonstrated application of new skills in workflows and projects.
  • Programme reach: Scale and diversity of teams trained across business units and markets.
  • Learner satisfaction: Positive feedback and NPS from participants reflecting engagement and impact.

Benefits:

  • 25 days PTO plus public holidays, although we operate a Flexible Time Off scheme
  • Health insurance / private medical cover
  • Monthly stipend towards wellness, fitness, and learning and development
  • Remote - work from anywhere in your home country
  • Enhanced parental leave policies, whether you become a parent through birth, adoption or surrogacy
  • Access to our Pencil office in The Shard, London for UK employees
  • Flexible working hours
