Overview:

The Claims Officer – Responsible for managing all medical claims, ensuring accurate preparation, review, processing, and submission according to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and compile medical claims and accurately record their details in the company’s approved system.
• Review medical documents to ensure completeness and compliance with insurance requirements.
• Prepare and organize medical claim files for submission.
• Deliver medical claims to insurance companies or medical entities through the external reception or in person as per procedures.
• Monitor the status of submitted claims (approved – rejected – under review).
• Update and maintain claim data in tracking files.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding medical claims and their status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and medical insurance procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical and personal data.

Job Requirements

• Relevant qualification (Commerce – Business Administration – Nursing – or related field).
• 1 year of experience in Claims, preferably in healthcare or insurance companies.
• Previous experience in medical claims or medical insurance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of medical insurance procedures.
• Proficient in computer use, including Excel.
