Financial Analysis & Reporting Section Head is responsible for leading the financial analysis team to provide strategic insights and recommendations that support decision-making across our diverse business segments. This role involves overseeing financial modeling, performance analysis, and the preparation of comprehensive financial reports.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Duties

General Admin Duties

  • Maintain and organize financial documents, reports, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with filing and documentation standards.
  • Assist in tracking departmental budgets and expenditures.
  • Prepare reports on budget utilization and variances.

Technical Duties

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess business performance and profitability.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Develop complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and project viability.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Use data analytics tools to gather insights and support decision-making.
  • Perform scenario analysis and risk assessments for projects.
  • Financial modeling, forecasting, anticipated scenarios.
  • Determines the cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guides cost analysis providing forecasts; explaining processes, techniques; recommending actions.
  • Physical inventory and cycle count coordination; investigation of cycle counting variances and issue resolution; bill of materials development and cost updates.
  • Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management

Minimum required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
  • Master’s degree or relevant
  • certifications (CFA, CPA) preferred.

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent English & Arabic, other language is an asset Minimum required Professional Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field experience.
