Job Description

• Contracting with external shipping companies to transport goods to international customers.
• Reviewing documents related to incoming and outgoing shipments for customs compliance before shipping and verifying them upon arrival.
• Assisting in tracking vessel arrivals with maritime agencies for inbound and outbound shipments and obtaining shipping permits.
• Coordinating with transport contractors and arranging the transport of shipments in collaboration with the warehouse department.
• Calculating and requesting checks for customs fees and maritime agency dues through the financial department and following up on their submission to the bank.
• Updating the Logistics Manager on new customs regulations, circulars, and exchange rates.
• Reporting work challenges and proposed improvements to the department manager.
• Performing any other tasks assigned within the scope of work.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or an equivalent qualification.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role (FMCG industry preferred).
• Knowledge of ERP systems for logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Logical analysis.
• Time management.
• Effective communication.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
