Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all vehicle comfort, infotainment, and telecommunication systems to ensure optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to manufacturer and dealer standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review the job card, verify vehicle data, and understand customer concerns related to comfort and telecom systems.

• Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC, infotainment, audio, navigation, telematics, and related electronic comfort systems.

• Perform software updates, module coding, and calibration tasks for infotainment, telematics, and comfort systems.

• Conduct thorough inspections and test functions to ensure proper operation of all comfort and telecom features.

• Document findings, repair actions, and parts usage accurately in the job card and internal systems.

• Coordinate with service advisors, workshop engineers, and other technicians for complex repair tasks.

• Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop cleanliness, ensuring safety standards are followed.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians when necessary.

• Follow all health, safety, and manufacturer repair procedures.

• Perform accurate job clocking for all assigned tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

• Technical Diploma in Automotive, Electrical/Electronics, or a related field.

Experience

• 2 4 years of experience in automotive electronics, infotainment, or comfort systems repair.

• Experience in premium automotive brands is highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of vehicle comfort and telecommunication systems including HVAC, infotainment, audio, navigation, telematics, and connected services.

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting and calibration.

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.

• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills.

• Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and workshop safety standards.
