DescriptionThe Legal Secretary will support our legal teams with high quality document production and efficient matter related administrative support. This role suits a detail oriented individual with excellent Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills, strong formatting abilities, and familiarity with legal documents and workflows.Main ResponsibilitiesDocument Management & Production (Primary Focus)Create, format, and proofread legal documents including agreements, correspondence, presentations, proposals, and internal formsProduce complex Word documents with styles, cross references, definitions, automatic tables, track changes, and comparison toolsPrepare visually polished PowerPoint presentations, pitch decks, and client facing materialsManage document revisions, version control, file naming conventions, and consistency across multiple working draftsMaintain digital filing and matter related document repositoriesConvert, merge, and edit PDF documents as requiredEnsure all documents adhere to firm standards and housekeeping rulesSupport lawyers with document based tasks such as blacklining, formatting corrections, and finalizing execution versionsLegal Support & AdministrationCalendar coordination (e.g., scheduling internal team calls or document related check ins)Interact with Accounting to process monthly billsRespond to regularly occurring requests for informationPrepare expense reportsCoordinate travel arrangementsShare information and expertise readily with staff members at all levelsSkills And ExperienceA high school diploma or equivalent; a secretarial degree is preferredNative Arabic speaker with fluency in EnglishSome experience in a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferredFamiliar with Saudi government portals such as Etimad, SBC, etc., is a strong plusFamiliar with legal terminology, typical legal document structures, and confidentiality requirementsStrong command of Microsoft Word (advanced formatting, styles, section breaks, headers/footers, numbering)Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, especially layout, formatting, and graphic consistencyBasic Excel skills (not essential but helpful)Knowledge of marketing resources and relevant materialsKnowledge of law firm office systems (Intapp Time, Intapp Open, etc.)High attention to detail and strong proofreading skillsAble to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing document deadlinesProactive, organized, and able to learn quicklyPositive, team oriented approach with willingness to take ownership of tasksReports to: Secretarial Management SupervisorPosition Type: In MarketDevelopment Framework: Business SupportAbout UsAt Baker McKenzie we are different in the way we think, work and behave.
